The album ... and Then There was X was nominated for a Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. In addition to his musical endeavors he had also appeared in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Let You Go Alone the Bleeding Romeo must die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
